SHIPPING, RETURNS & CANCELLATION POLICIES
All orders are processed upon receipt. Normal processing takes less that 24 hours, and upon verification and approval, your merchandise is shipped out immediately.
Out of New York State:
ManhattanHomeDesign offers convenient shipping methods for delivery within the continental United States only. Please keep the following in mind when choosing a delivery method: shipping times represent the time it normally takes your package to arrive from the day we actually send it out, not from the day you submit your order. Additionally, processing and shipping times do not include non-business days (i.e., Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays). For example, an order for FedEx 2nd day delivery placed on Thursday could take until Tuesday to arrive at its destination, assuming processing is completed within 24 hours and the package ships out on Friday (Friday + 2 business days = Tuesday). It could take longer if the order cannot be processed in time to be shipped out on Friday. The same is true for other delivery options. The tracking number is automatically e-mailed to you and after the package leaves our warehouse, you may check its status online at http://www.fedex.com/; or via phone at 1-800-GO-FEDEX.
RETURN POLICY
ManhattanHomeDesign.com offers a 07 day Return Policy starting on the day when the merchandise is received by a customer, so buy with confidence! You may return an item, excluding any shipping and handling charges, within a period of 07 days according to the following guidelines:
- All returns must be doubled boxed (manufacturer's box inside a shipping box) and authorized by ManhattanHomeDesign.com. Please contact our customer service department for a return authorization number and instructions prior to shipping merchandise back. Enclose the original receipt or a copy of it with your return. Also enclose a brief letter of explanation of return and state your request for either a refund or an exchange. Please include the authorization number within the letter and not on the outside of the box. Never write anything on the manufacturer's box.
- Refunds, exchanges and returns may only be made within 07 days of receiving. the merchandise if return is in brand new condition.
- All cancellations must be received at least 48 business hours before shipping. Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail (customerservice@manhattanhomedesign.com), fax (480-287-9242 ATTN: Javier Levy), or by U.S. mail (325w 38th Street Suite 904-NYC-NY -10018) ATTN: Javier Levy.) Any cancelation made after the items were ship, qualify for a 80% product price refund minus all shipping, handling, administrative fees and credit card processing fees.
- In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your item, you may return it to us for a full refund of the purchase price less the actual shipping cost. Any discounts or free shipping applied to your original order will be deducted from your return credit. For example, if we offered free shipping on your order, we will issue you a credit for the purchase price of the returned merchandise, but will deduct our actual shipping costs for returned items.
- Returns of opened merchandise are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
- RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) numbers are valid 03 days and the product must reach our warehouse before then. A delay will result in complete forfeiture of your credit. Products sent back without valid RMA numbers will not be accepted.
- Any merchandise returned to us unauthorized will be REFUSED.
- Make sure to insure the package. ManhattanHomeDesign.com cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages.
- NOTE: Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returns.
- Any attempt to return a product to our warehouse will be refused. Returns/exchanges must be shipped and insured via a shipping carrier.
- Shipping and handling expenses are NON-REFUNDABLE. In case of return any charges will be deducted from the original (including promotional "free shipping" fees that are Included on price and all refused and unaccepted packages).
- All merchandise must be returned in original manufacture packaging.
- All supplied manufacture accessories must be included in original factory packaging when returning the item. Failure to return all or any supplied accessories will result in complete forfeiture of your credit.
- Original manufacturers warranty cards and paperwork must be blank.
- Ground Shipments: Claims MUST be made within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise. Customer is responsible for inspecting merchandise contents and condition within those 24 hours.
- Freight Shipments: Customer is responsible for inspecting freight upon arrival. Any damage must be listed on the delivery receipt BEFORE signing for the item. The freight company will contact you and schedule an appointment for delivery. Someone must be home to sign and accept the package. If the appointment is missed, the freight company will make a second attempt and the customer must pay a $50 fee to the freight company. For additional details, please see the IMPORTANT FREIGHT NOTICE listed below.
- No partial returns when buying with packaged deals: everything must be returned. All returns are subject to inspection.
- In the event any of these conditions are not adhered to, we reserve the right to either refuse the return, or to charge a nominal restock fee of no less than 15% depending on the condition of the returned merchandise.
- Returns typically take 5-7 business days to process, and credits should be posted within 14 days of receipt. Please note that we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged by the shipping company.
IMPORTANT FREIGHT NOTICE � READ BEFORE DELIVERY All shipments have been shipped in perfect condition when handed over to the freight carrier at our warehouse. Customer MUST inspect complete package and merchandise for damage or shortage before signing the delivery receipt. Remove carton if necessary for thorough inspection. If damaged, note any and ALL damage on freight bill before signing. Contact the freight carrier immediately to file a damage claim. Please keep all of the original packaging for the freight company�s inspection. If damage is not noted on the delivery receipt, the customer must pay shipping costs for the replacement. Customer must keep original packaging for at least 5 days. Once the item is signed for, customer is responsible for package and any additional shipping charges that may be required.
All returns/exchanges must be insured and must be shipped pre-paid to one of our warehouses in Los Angeles or New York.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. a) For your safety and protection, your credit card information is not stored on our servers. Our payment gateway provider keeps this information encrypted and secure on your behalf.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
•The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to periodic company news, updates, and/or related product or service information, etc.• To improve customer service

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.
