Manhattan Home Design is committed to your satisfaction. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Return Window

You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and undamaged
  • Be in their original packaging, double-boxed
  • Include all original accessories

Return Authorization

All returns require prior authorization. To initiate a return, email [email protected] to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Once authorized, items must be shipped within 2 business days. The return tracking number must be emailed to [email protected], or the refund will not be processed.

Refund Details

Refunds will be issued minus the original outbound shipping costs. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must insure the item for its full value.

If the item arrives damaged at our warehouse, a deduction will be made from the refund amount.

Refunds and exchanges are processed within 1–2 business days after inspection.

Note: Credit card processing fees (4%) are non-refundable in the event of cancellations or returns.

Items that originally shipped with "FREE SHIPPING" will have the actual outbound shipping cost deducted from the refund.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and confirmed with written acknowledgment from Manhattan Home Design.

  • If an order has already shipped, the customer is responsible for shipping and handling costs plus a restocking fee of up to 20%.
  • Once an authorized cancellation is received, a full or agreed-upon refund will be issued promptly.

Made-to-Order Items

Orders for Made-to-Order items may be canceled within 7 days of placing the order for a full refund. Cancellations are not permitted after the 7-day window.

Sale & Clearance Items

Sale and clearance items may only be canceled before shipment. If a sale item order is canceled more than 24 hours after placement and has not yet shipped, Manhattan Home Design reserves the right to charge a 25% fee.

Final Sale / Clearance items are sold as-is and cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled once shipped. No exceptions.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or in the wrong color or finish, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the issue.

Manhattan Home Design reserves the right to resolve the issue through professional repair, replacement parts, refinishing, or other reasonable means at no cost to the customer. If these efforts are unsuccessful, a replacement item may be provided.

Customers must allow Manhattan Home Design a reasonable opportunity to inspect and remedy the issue before initiating a return, refund request, or chargeback. Failure to do so may void eligibility for a refund.

Damaged Goods at Delivery

IMPORTANT: If you accept a delivery without noting visible damage on the delivery receipt, we will be unable to issue a refund or replacement. Always inspect packages at the time of delivery.

  • Freight Deliveries: Inspect for holes, gouges, or damage and note any carton damage on the delivery receipt (e.g., "damaged in transit"). If damage is found after opening, email us within 24 hours.
  • FedEx/Small Carrier: If packaging is severely damaged, reject the package. For minor damage, accept it, take 3 photos, and email us.
  • Keep all original packaging for 15 days in case a return or exchange is needed.

Product Exchanges

All shipping, handling, administrative, and processing fees apply to exchanges. Any remaining balance after an exchange will be issued as store credit only — no exceptions.

Warranty

Manhattan Home Design offers a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, improper handling, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear.
