The mid-century style is a style that never stops being recurrent in the surroundings of many people. This style has revolutionized the interior design industry, becoming known for the functional and attractive results obtained when implemented in spaces. Today more than ever, due to the need for new areas with different purposes, this style that takes functionality to another level, has been starring in many people's homes. Not only has it been a participant in great TV series, but it has also left a mark with dozens of iconic structures.

Whether we refer to interior design or art, the mid-century is undoubtedly a style that has influenced pieces that today are considered iconic. An example of this is the Florence Knoll sofa. Which we currently can find in museums, movies, houses, cafes, among many other places.

Today we will talk about these pieces that have stood out within this wonderful style and the creative minds of these elements. Let's start this tour!

Florence Knoll Sofa

Florence Knoll was an architecture and designer recognized for revolutionizing the office furniture industry. She, together with her husband, was able to create an entire empire. During her years at the helm of the company, she made many breakthroughs and left a mark when she brought out an entire collection for corporate furniture. They had optimal, functional and elegant structures for the employees of these companies. Florence Knoll took into account modern concepts where she saw furniture, including chairs, as machines with a purpose. Thanks to this, was able to design the now iconic sofa that bears her name; the Florence Knoll sofa.

The Florence Knoll sofa is a classic piece upholstered in high-quality aniline leather, this type of leather is responsible for its natural and luxurious appearance. In addition to providing a smooth texture to the touch, the model has a tan color that gives off a sophisticated shine, attracting the attention of all guests. Although we are describing the tan sofa, it also came in a very neutral and intense black.

The Florence Knoll 3-seater sofa is made of durable materials so it’s not a problem when you want to sit children, family, and friends on it while watching movies or playing games, as it will provide them with enough space to support them making them feel extreme comfort due to their cushions filled with dense foam.
