The Arco Lamp Is an Excellent Metalic Fixture to Your Living Room's Layout

Posted by Eloy on Mar 3rd 2020

Metal is an element that interior designers don't always know how to get the most out of. Artifacts that are part of a design and contain metallic finishes can bring a very attractive touch of elegance and good taste, and bring pleasure to the eyes of any spectator. Some decorative styles such as Industrial and Glam give more prominence to metal than others such as Scandinavian, Farmhouse or Bohemian. However, a floor lamp such as the Arco lamp, which is functional and at the same time has a very aesthetic design, can look great with several types of decorative styles, even when it originally belongs to the mid-century modern style.

Metal and Marble: a Powerful Combination

Integrating an Arco lamp reproduction into your living room can be convenient not only for the beauty that its large stainless steel arch can bring but for its impressive base made of authentic Carrara marble. Anyone who is or isn't looking for alternatives to give new life to their spaces with metallic elements should know that one of the reasons why mid-century modern style models are so recognized is because of their great sense of aesthetics.

If you have good and balanced lighting, a floor lamp like this will look even better. The decorative style to which the Arco lamp belongs is characterized by geometric and simple designs, which don't take up much space and are highly aesthetic and functional. Besides, the Arco lamp replica is recognized for its technical characteristics. Since it was created by the Castiglioni brothers and first presented in 1962 by FLOS, this model almost automatically became a floor lamp superior to many other floor lamp models that were in great demand at the time, and It was recognized as an ornament of incredible good taste.
