Key thing to keep in mind when buying outdoor furniture is the space. Firstly, you look at the amount of space you have since it will determine the kind of furniture you need to purchase. For example, if your patio size is small, you could get a bar table set rather than a full-sized table with chairs to conserve space.
Secondly, it is important to know the kind of flooring your furniture will be resting on. Is it on a hard or soft surface. This will help you determine whether you need light weight furniture or something more sturdy.

For example, if your patio receives ample rain, then wooden patio furniture may not be the best choice. If you like in a windy terrain, getting something durable would be a wise choice.
3. Know what you want
You should know the use of the outdoor furniture you’re buying. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your backyard, buy pieces that you will need. For example, if you’re going to to be eating a lot outside, then buy a dining table or if you’re just going to hang out with family and friends, you get a sectional sofa set that’ll suit your needs!
4. Green thumb all the way!
A big determinant in Mid Century Modern design is the random burst of colors. And colors are personal. If your furniture is going to be in the sun very often, don’t get darker colors. Get patio furniture that is neutral colors, hence, lasting longer.
